Photos from the NASA 25 Hours of Thunderhill sports car race, held annually at Thunderhill Raceway Park in Willows, California, sanctioned by National Auto Sport Association.

(Photographing the 25 Hours of Thunderhill is one of my most favorite races to shoot each year. I hope you enjoy each photo as much as I do, and I appreciate the opportunity to get photographs of every team and make them available, as not everyone can afford their own team photographer. I do not spend a lot of time doing candid photos around the pit lane as there are literally hundreds of people already there with smart phones, so I prefer to be off trying to document the action from locations where fewer people can go. I especially love the opportunity to photograph the sunrise, sunset, and streaking lights at night. These pictures are shots that few other races afford the opportunity to capture. The assortment of cars also is exceptional, from LMP2 Lola, Ligier and Duqene LMP3s, SR3 Radicals, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Honda, Nissan, Acura, and Mazda Miata. The 2021 race even saw Entropy Racing EVSR as the first all-electric race car to compete and complete the race.)
